Welcome to Erskine!
The Erskine community is made up of people from a diversity of faith and ethnic backgrounds. We are held together by our commitment to Christ and by our passion to grow in our faith, to serve the church with our gifts, and to reach out into the community in mission.
At Erskine worship is dynamic, engaging, relevant, and rooted in the Bible. We offer supportive and educational small groups for adults, dynamic child and youth programs, and superb musical leadership.
Are you seeking answers to life's questions, or simply seeking a church community for your family? Erskine meets the complexity and challenge of today with creativity and integrity within a welcoming and safe community of faith.
Vision Statement
Erskine will focus on the following priorities over the next five years:
Faith Formation: to increase our efforts to foster faith in the congregation, and specifically with children and youth
Mission:
to involve the congregation more directly in local and global mission.
we will do this through better communication of what we already support through our denomination
through education and encouragement to become engaged in other community and global projects
Stewardship: to develop and execute a plan that will encourage the congregation to become more generous stewards of God’s gifts
Purpose Statement
To be a community that is intentional in its encouragement of discipleship and spiritual growth.
We do this through worship, study and support groups, and through the spiritual practices of hospitality, healing, prayer and service.
We do this in order to equip Christians to live out their calling as agents of God’s reconciling love, justice and peace in the world.
